Plants have always been a rich source of chemical compounds. Many of these lead compounds are useful drugs in themselves, others have been the basis for synthetic drugs. This Special Issue will bring studies, presented at the XIX SILAE Congress, on all aspects of natural products, including isolation, characterization, spectroscopic properties, biological activities, synthesis, analytical methods and tissue culture and fermentation. |
